Sadly visit spoilt by discovering a very poorly wild rabbit amongst the buildings that was obviously blind and suffering. On reporting this, staff were aware and not particularly intetested. The sight of this poor rabbit upset us let alone the children that might visit and are likely to try to touch it!! Closed areas, with no explanations. Had hoped to see inside mill as we did 20 years ago. Disappointing visit

Well worth a visit! Good for both Adults and children . Great play area.

Great time with my family. Good food and interesting buildings to explore. This was on a rainy autumnal day too, we plan to come again in the summer.

Recently visited here on a Sunday using a Groupon Voucher. We have been living in the area for over 20 years, driving past the museum most days and never paid it a visit until now.We werent disappointed, such an interesting day out, probably more suited to sunny and dry days, as most of it is outdoors. At each turn is a step back in time, with some fantastic buildings that were thankfully saved from demolition. We also visited the tea room, which has reasonable coffee and excellent cake.Best of all, its dog friendly!

A really lovely place, friendly people and something interesting around every corner. Illustrates a very British characteristic of people coming together to campaign to save pieces of history, winning and then getting it sorted. It's not overcommercialised either, a gentle relaxing day, and the Edwardian Tea room is pretty good too.
