Music in adult lounge is not my choice of music so i'd rather not have any. It's extremely annoying. I dont like sitting outside as the noise is loud out there but its equally as noisy inside , no its actually much worse. How hard can it be to stop playing this nonsense?
A constant annoyance about David Lloyd has been how expensive the food is, especially when you consider the cost of being a member. And being a member doesnt even let you use the tennis courts. You have to pay extra for that too. But the thing that has crossed a line for me comes from my experience today. After my gym session I usually get a protein shake. They used to cost 2.30 and I would get the cup filled up to the point where it meets the lid. But when I got one today I immediately noticed the price has been increased to 2.60, a bit annoying but I could live with it. But things get even worse when I am given my shake and (no joke) only HALF the cup was filled up!!! I want to know how they can justify increasing the price when they cut the size in half. Its downright offensive they expect members to pay more for half the size when they already pay for everything else there. But I guess thats the cost of franchising.
Great gym but the weights only go up to 80KG's and I'm a proper hench geeza with warrior power so this isn't even enough to bicep curl. Great gym if your a little fruity boy like Calvin or Ross though.
Great club and great variety of classes for both adults and children. Very welcoming relaxed club environment.
Joined a few month ago with the family. Love all the sessions especially the gym sessions for my 13 year old daughter. Very friendly staff and clean facilities. Highly recommended to all.
